There is a whole ocean out there

Do not envy

One dimensional depths

Or shallow pools of want

Which build up in warmth

And barely reflect the sun

Meant to know no more

Than evaporation once

You should not because

There’s a whole ocean out there

Beyond this this three by three

Uneven close to the sea

And you were meant to swim

Not just splash, my free

For no puddle ever offered such

Either danger or ease
