The cape

Give me quiet rain,

the kind which whispers

simple secrets onto a

Victorian window pane.

With drips to run down

silver siding, to

formulate in these seashell

shores. Give me all of

that which my memory

desires. Peaceful corners,

short nights, and long

mornings which will never end.

With sand, and shade, and burning

sun at close of day.

to smile back

Give me every desire

which had long since been

born, on that rocky outcrop,

And on those sandy shores.

Now flown away

Give me all of that again

For a spell
