Smiles and threads
A smile is more
Than a forming of one mind
Connected by nothing
With it’s strings of everything
Stretched out in between
Be it miles or meters
Away from hands and hearts
It matters not how it starts
But it’s started
And is
With a smile
Tidal mess
Sit back
See
Sigh
At the sight of flowing
Flow in being
Like rising
Falling
Turning
Tides of dark
And ominous
Incoming
Doom
But not for
Me
For us
But for the silent places
That were once
Held
By you
So sit back
See
And sigh
My friends
I am
We are
An unstoppable tide
Gray skies tanka
Gray skies roll in close
Caressing the hilltops old
Compared to their own
Recently born family of
Cloud conglomerate formed cold
A shadow isn’t
A shadow isn’t always
The mere mispresence of light
But a reflection of seen
Of a glowing sort of being
A which human with a vibrance
In their full state of being
And this
Can cast shadows
Due to radiance alone
A very long way indeed
It is not
A struggle is not
Always such an impersonal thing
But a cause and affect
Which effects all
Those around who know
Or wish to see you through
Into the years of being
Beyond all seeing and such
With the days of youth
Now firmly behind
This is me
This you
This new us which we’ve found
Overtop time and truth
Hearts Weep
My heart breaks for the hardened
The neglected alone
Left to die without memory
Passed along ere to go
Into nothing and night
Into darkness and woe
How I wish for the soften
Once-young tree seed to grow
Into tall and reflective into
Smiles of more than knowing
The kind to with which
The most considerate show
This is my wish
Of today, of most
Slight smile vibes
Vision is knowing
Not what will
Happen
With an absolute certainty of mind
But knowing what could be
And then trying to become
And then in the succeeding
A little smile on the base paths
As you somehow knew
Before anyone else alive
That this moment was true
And it was yours
Such currency
Spend no more
Than a single worry on want
Because such currency comes
At a dire cost to today
And in spending like this
You can never get back
The tomorrow
Once spent
Engines of true desire
Hearts
Powered by
The fuel of musts
Run engines true
And as needed forward
But a fuel more pure
Than wind or fire
Than sun or nuclear
Stands tall as this
A heartfelt desire
All the same, embrace
A change
Isn't necessarily a heartfelt
Sigh
From either such tongues
Or minds implied
Yet change is change
And new is new
And the memories of old remain
For as long as you let them
Or wish them
Through perceptive desire
To
Don't be afraid instead
But embrace all the same
Anew
Time Instead
Time spends no self
Worrying about the malcontent
The disbelief
Or trampling feet away from truth
Instead
Direction is everything
On the path of one
Of many few
To you
Tires, thoughts, a haiku
These things they call sound
Circle round us beneath us
And all the way, there
Whispers and white clouds
If memories could speak
And converse as us
Like the whispering trees
And faded skies above
Which hollow into reds
And above dying leaves tread
Down and across old paths of time
Then we as humans
And these beings of part
Once separated from the whole
Would never seek
To see another sky again
Out of blissful pain seeking
Rememberence missed
Instead our eyes are foward
Not back
Dreaming of everything but are
Sometimes the dream
Of ought to go
And thus could be
Is more enjoyable than
The act of stepping out
Let alone forward
Wherever you currently are
Now
Sacrifice and tankas
Who's happiness should
Be sacrificed for who I
Wonder now if we
Ever inexplicably
Will be in such unison
Sweet silent thought
Give me this
Sweet silence to think
Bright sunshine on my back
And time just to be
Away from all of these
Elongated expectations of self
Which demand fulfillment and fire
Warm but not unborn
Is where this most desirable moment
Waits
Unappealing
The cutest thing
Is the thought of want
Without a single action
To move want towards reality
It’s cute
So he said
Not
Was the only one who saw it
Today I woke up
And the sunlight was different
All the cars drove by
With their people inside
And noone noticed the sky
With its wide open, downward cast, eyes
Looking out down at me
With its selfish smirk and reprise
As a different type of light fell all around me
And I
