Breathing breaths
A breath is a breath
Is a breath
Is not a word
Is a meaning perhaps
And yet nothing at all
But to survive
To endure
To desire
To mean nothing
And to learn
That a breath
Is a simple
Yet as a sound
To be heard
A spark amongst sparks
Our comforts burn
And wishes for
Our own ways to wind
Through valleys of hope
Yet one day with a crash
Like these forest fires burn
When an unforseen conflict
Like a friction to start
This occasional spark
To an unpleasant flame
Burst and turns
To dread
Cold knows not
Cold knows not
How harsh it is
Unless summer enters in
After spring has done it's work
And is welcomed such
Near to speak again
And remind within
How the coat of winter snows to know
That they need not always lay
With such chilling force each day and so
And so now at least
This cold doest know
Then hope will shine
When beautiful days
Step into your foyer
And trees wave back
In an opportunistic way
Then hope will shine
Falling joy from the sky
As you see the land before you now
More before as ever it had been in past
And wishes abound
And will sound
Like dreams come true
Or so I pray for me and you
And you and me
It to be
Saria
Waters down and sometimes south
A river doesn't announce
It's need to flow
Or desires of south
It is completely separate or rhyme
Or of human ways entangled so
Woth gravity it goes
As a pulling means to a light rippling end
I see
That river is truly a need to run
And such should be
Expressed this true desire
The same kind which flows within
This pulling, falling, southbound me
Faith and this, for me
The other
Is one of the quickest ways
To remove from self
And be freed again
At peace
Some goodnight words, not goodbye
To be gone
Someday
Is not a bad thing
From this mortal coil
Though it may be sad and true
Leaving memories behind
But I
Know where my yesterday keeps
And why I lived it
And that flight was mine
I will never be free
So long as there is time
So be
So bright days may be yours in mind
Happy little trees
An artist needs no eyes
Other than theirs
To see the seed of mind
Once sown
Once grown
We trees all grow
Regardless of
Which humans see us
Fell us or know
Regardless it is
Like a painting
So
Worlds beside
Lives are tiny little universes
And all over they thrive
Passby and die
And we are none the wiser of their joy
And of their suffering alike
For there are millions, neigh on billions, near you
Just beside
Do you see?
Time sits in a corner and stares
Time is not a constraint
I think
At least when we learn
To think of time
In the proper way
And to see it fully
In regards to our lives
And therein our own space
(To create)
Instead it is just another sight
Look away
Pontif
There's no traditional life I desire
No westward venture of permanents
Which I've ever pined for
I am both simple man and complex mind
Drawn to that which I haven't done
But could
And you know me
For who I was and am
And could be in truth if grown
Like a tree you pour smiling sunlight
And a loving water on me
And wait, like a beautiful day above
My love
Saria
Don't mind my mind, please
Please don't mind
Or take offense at mine
For wishing itself alone
From time, for a time
It's not because of you
I promise
It's because of me
I'm sure
This is my need
Solely
End results
Winning is
A poor mans brand
A one dimensional thing
Easily conveyed
Without saying anything else
Or so much as to how
Great skill comes to be said aloud
This speaks
Of a meaning deeper than win
And a talent more silent than sound
It is
So much easier then to unfind
As compared to be found
A talent refined
Self first and last
Finding ways
To be yourself
When all around
Are their own selves first
And foremost you are
Not accustomed to not being last
Then
You will be happy for a spell
Because all that you've been wishing for
Has not been quelled
By the forceful hands of anothers wish
To be close or far
Or close or far
As this
Wishing sun, cursing rain
Sunlight rains
And we feel its affects
But so never say how
We wish this or that
Warming ray would dissolve
Or be whisked away
Like it's cousin
The waterway
Unpopular as the day
When the astronomer waits
Do you see?
A tanka self aware
I setout to write
A simple tanka to find
A mere break from self
And yet instead there in mind
A full verse suddenly mine
Rain and water alive
Somedays it rains
And those are happy
For crops to stay, secure and safe
And sometimes it rains so much it floods
And the young man
In all of his unownership ways
Laughs and he
Stomps though puddles to pass
Not the time, but with a smile wide
Just as sometimes to live
Is not to own - and to own
But to be alive
Sharing pros
Inspiring others
Is only so good as good can be
And the truth therein in your own life found
Lest you share something worse
Something that is not
Do not
