Kindled flames
Our electric friction compels me
But lest I move
And spark too much
That kindling into fire
Too soon
Instead I wish and wait and hold
And fast and hope instead
Firmly to a standard of stone
Which encircles us now
Until wildfire consumes
And all at once the woods are in and in need
And the forests cued
Still internally so
In my own forest
And with an each new day henceforth renewed
Just know
With no amount of smoke
But instant combustion
I burn for you
Saria
Self words
I am an odd mix
Of talent and non-performance
Of ability and desire not to be found
How I now know what I knew not then
How about there was and is all around
Those sensational lights which blink at night
In towers as tall as the seeming sky
And I am just the opposite of they
For I am an odd mix
Of eyes and sight
With feet planted firmly on the ground
Look down, I am not
Though look up occasionally, I might
For you are alive
There are no ghosts in my past lands
No former halls I'd like to traverse
Which I either dreamt of
Or would rather sleep on
Or would swap you for
My flesh and bone
Your mind unmatched
Now when I dream it is only of you
And cannot sleep without such a wish
Entwined in kind and soul alike
For you are alive
And with me a hope of shall not pass
I believe as surely as you are kind
Saria
Happy it's you
My young heart knew
Not what a bullet was
Or how cold steel could taste
In a slash of truth
And yet my eyes remembered
Having seen the battles past
Pass by with heavy heart
And a trudging weight about their shoes
Having since found out about it I knew
That those broken hearts sent whizzing past
Were not for me and we happily unfound
I am lucky to be alive, let alone with you
Saria
Light pollution
As it turns out
Before you
I wasnt a lonely star
But an empty nights sky
In a body of celestial hues
Light pollution
Saria
Saria
A universe
You are a universe I would happily like to explore for a very very long time, an almost ever more.
Yes please
Saria
Tuesdayerstion
Be it a reiteration in every way
You know the truth...
That Tuesday's are my least favorite days
Know not my thoughts, or what to say
On such a day
Feel like not much of anything goes my way
Or so I'd say
As I'm inclined to cancel things
And sleep the dreary day away
Or wake myself to go and play
Out in the rain (because contractually it must rain on this day)
But... Instead I am embraced by it
By the agony of yet another workday
Do you think I'm kidding?
Go right ahead, just find an ear and ask away
Ask anyone who you would find
Within a twenty miles of my drive
No way Jose could be OK
On this second waking-working day
How I prefer Tuesdays sister in every way
Would you take me back or forward one day?
Though I aced our ace at least five times
I'm still not a fan of these tEEWWWWWs days
Your words mean more
Your words are no longer words to me
Like the sunlight unseen
On a cloudy day in May
Your words echo now
Not like light but like sound
In the trees of fall
Only your words stand
Taller than I and memories alike
Saria
The living
Who am I to say that I know
The direction in which the world spins
The speed at which the leaves sway
The songs which all the birds sing
The location at which the ball will fall
But me and me, of which I know all
Turns out I know quite nothing of at all
For I just spin, and sway, and sing
And see it all as time does fall
Around me and all the time
Alive
Am I
Days of lost
There are days I can smile back
At the universe looking at me
But alas
Today I cannot see
I am completely without
A path of sight before me
To smile
Heart Causes
A young mans heart
Bleeds for things
And causes and self
But here
At the turning of centuric tide
Do find
That a true heart beats
For people and faith
For a consistency of mind
Unmatched
Innate
And so some of us do grow to find
More
Constantly Constant
My worst enemy
Always presumed
To know me due to me
Having been my own
But now I see
Not that sight or time
Or the lack thereof
Or too much alone
Is what pulls me away
And ails me the most
No, instead most steadily
It is the engine of note
The human heart of hope
Which pulls at my mind
When my time is too much to me my own
Then all of my fears are shown
For I am powerless against an unknown
Me
Zineas in the summer
Having declared my heart to be one with yours
I can only assume
That much like the zineas in the summer
My own myocardium is in bloom
For it is miles away at present
With you
And as for yours I can say
It seems most happy this day
(With me)
Saria
Eternal, a tanka
I have no answers
Only guiding light and love
For those around me
Who, wish to know more about
The only father who lives
A running pace
As a runner I
Love a race pronounced
And declared to be
Of certain length and time
For how else could I know
And be certain of steps
Without the structural norm
Of that race in mind
But then again, to what end
Will I go and at when
Once I am suddenly there
At the occuring finishing line?
For such a runner as man
And in the me of preferred know
Perhaps I will just let go
And run out of this mind
Perhaps in distance unknown, I will be free of mine
Beyond mere care
Caring is fine
And as a first step, towards walking, needed
But mind
Once bent and pulled into a compassionate grey
Must follow the path of need and want
Just to not turn around and say
"Not today, my enemy of mine"
For who else will give of their focal time
If not you when you see
That there is a genuine must and need
Laying bare before your feet
Its time to walk in a different manner
Legacy, a tanka
Fame is only this
A blessing which the breath has
Only when its gone
No true maven is ever
Recognized before their end
UnDoubt
A mystery which
Seems completely unknown
You may think that you feel
Most strongly about
But know this
For as surley as I tell you, no
There is another world out there
Is a galaxy most near
Which you have already chosen
So
Don't even waiver for a second
At the sight of flag or starry night in sky
For we all feel the wind and sea and sunlight
And no warmth will ever compare to a memory
Of her most consistent eyes
