The return of time itself
Time is the weirdest bedfellow I find
And kick to the curb
On a daily basis
Yes, please
No matter how comfortable I get
Miss time will inevitably return
To untuck my sheets
Throw all the pillows into disarray
And leave windows open
On the downpouring days
What an unwelcome reminder
You are
That I cannot yet be
(Alseep)
Walls, a tanka
Walls are meant for more
Than just in or out or up
With you looking down
The walls are why we humans
Try so hard to build the sky
Between looks and thoughts
My nature is
Unbeknownst to even me
But I live
Somewhere inbetween
Quiet looks and sprinting thoughts
It's always some sort of race with me
Until suddenly
It is not
I can't explain it any better than that
I just am where I am
And as for the why
I try not to give it even a second thought
This is me
Was mine
Our pancakes, a tanka
Banana pancakes
Yours, in the morning sunlight
Drive my blueberry
Thoughts away without concern
For you are the sweet As Is
Saria
Dreams of this you
Dreams comes knocking
Like unwanted dinner guest to stay
And feast on time and rest
And seemingly on the nothingness
They snack and snack
Yet all the while they take
And take away
From this
The chance to dream
Of a much sweeter feast
Kicking them out post haste
My sweet
Saria
Your short beautiful breaths out
You breathe out
And I breathe out
With only six seas separating us
I can still feel your warmth
In voice and song
A short exalted breath of life
In compacts stroke
About half as mine is long
I can hear it still
I can feel it alive
Saria
WordsImperfect
Amidst the difficult things to say
And the quiet remnants of memory
The halls of hope behind walls of heart
Where stands an eternity passed
On and on by voice and grace
We commemorate
This
As
No thought was ever felt
By anyone else
At least in its entirety
Ever
Instead we pass on words imperfect
Themselves Alone And Yet Not
One day I awoke
And in the mirror looked
Seeing not just myself
But you as well
And with a smile we
Went about our days
As two halves can only be
Themselves
Saria
Colonies
We build and build
Like ants in the ground
We store up what we think
Are the treasures with which
We will always resound
When really our lives
Much like a carnival circus
Just spin and rotate back
Be it around and around
And the greatest treasure we'll find
Never actually can be found
For its by personal growth
And the pursuit which we are bound
Always build for those things beyond your own town
A State Brand
A brand is a shining light on your chest
Which says "I understand and am understood"
And the outward watcher looking in
Transforms eyer to buyer
Be it for bad or good
A brand is not always as it should
Yup
Well caffinated
Empty your stomach
And stir your mind
Drag a net through your subconscious
And you will find
More fish in less water
Than you knew you even had
And your hunger for thoughts
Will sustain you to glad
Create always
Be it good or bad
Create
Warm like morning sands
You settle into me
Like a morning sand
Battered not by the tide
But brought in
And I
Having walked it last night
When it was different and cold
Love you now and your warmthness more
Than any fleeting moonlit sight
Or lonesome song once sung out into the world
I was well past dusk
When you found me in morning
And for that I thank you
Saria
Beautiful lights in eyes and seasons
No color can account for feeling
Just as no season
Ever remembers the same
(time therein)
They just pass and pass by
Into colorful eyes
And watches and clocks
And days and nights
The old sunlight lives
To bounce itself
Off leaves, and stones, and Iriss
And all a smiling man can do
Is choose
To look and see
To smile and wish
(And the wish is for a longer hold on nothingness)
A hope of home
The stone and rock which I've yet to know
Sits imperfectly on
A plot of land which I hope to meet
Just as our future shared
Is in its timeliness
Unbeknownst to us
All a man and woman can do is pray
And build and hope
And wish to seek and know
Where their land of home
Is becoming
Beneath God
All man, all woman, all prayer, all hope
Saria
Chiropract
Twist my spine
Shake my kneck
Receive a looseness
Of a newly born life
Then pick me up
With a pop and a crack
And I'll sigh out my back
With a temporal relax
A living, breathing, tanka embodied
Caring for noone
Is not the same as breathing
For anyone who
You once created in womb
It's our children who are ours
Flesh not gears
Those who think
For only themselves
Never see anyone else
For any other reason
Than their own device
And this is sad
Because human beings
Are the furthest thing possible
From a mechanical device
We are flesh and bone and embodied alike
We are alive
University of Life
College is pretending
And sweat pants
And complaining alike
The only difference
Being
In work
Your clothes change
Bill gets get larger
To compensate
And your either eat this
Your responsibility
Or your response
To the most negative emotion shown
(Or the opppsote)
Which spikes
Heavens Earth
Sky, moon, and stars collapse
Into a bed of oxygen
Sheathed with hydrogen
Strange bedfellows these
Know their children
The planets
Having been born from the knowledge
Of movements
And helium alike
"Arise" says the sun
With each new morning
They share and see not what you can't
For the sky loves the stars
As the sun kisses moon
With moonlight alive each night
And together they are envious
Of both noone
And all
Beneath each of the these, a celestial guise
